What time of day do bass feed best?
Bass are most active at dawn and dusk; low light also changes how they see a lure.
Largemouth bass are most active at dawn and dusk. The fish eye has rod cells for high sensitivity in low light and cone cells for higher resolution in bright conditions, so the low-light windows are prime feed times and color matters most in bright, clear water near the surface.
baromoon scores solunar majors and light bands into the window order; see the color and clarity explainer for how light changes lure choice.
