how baromoon makes money — and how it doesn't

As an Amazon Associate, baromoon earns from qualifying purchases. If you follow an Amazon link from this site and buy something, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Amazon links are labeled as affiliate links wherever they appear.

The rule

Monetization never touches ranking. Every recommendation on this site is scored from the weather, the sky, the lake's state, and a cited tackle library. Retailer links are attached after the ranking is complete. No advertiser, brand, or retailer can buy position, and scores never see offers.

What the links are

• Manufacturer pages — product pages from the tackle library. No commission, ever.
• Affiliate links (where present) — labeled as such, always. This includes Amazon: as an Amazon Associate, baromoon earns from qualifying purchases. If you buy through one, baromoon may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
• The gap lane ("the gap in your tackle box") — items that scored highly for your conditions but aren't in your stated tackle box. Same scoring as everything else; the link is how you fix the gap, not how the item got there. Rigging patterns (drop shot, Carolina, Neko, Texas…) are shown as techniques with no purchase links — only discrete products carry offers.

What we don't do

• No paid placements, sponsored posts, or "featured" slots.
• No selling or sharing of user data (we don't have any — see privacy).
• No link shorteners that hide destinations.
